Get Nicole Richie’s New Look

Starting at the big show in January, designer, mom and mogul, Nicole Richie teamed up with Suave Professionals® and invited women to discover the essence of Keratin at home with the New Suave Professionals® Keratin InfusionTM system. Last night, at the music industry’s biggest night, Richie debuted another smooth transformation thanks to the New Suave Professionals® Keratin InfusionTM system.
Suave Professionals® Stylist, Jenny Cho shares her tips on how to get Nicole’s look:
1. Start by washing and conditioning hair using the new Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner to help maintain vibrant color and control frizz for up to 48 hours.
2. On wet hair, use the Suave Professionals Heat Protection Spray prior to blow drying to help defend against heat damage.
3. Apply Suave Professionals Volumizing Root Boost Spray directly at the roots to provide lift and support for lasting volume.
4. Blow dry hair using a round brush.
5. Section hair to prepare for curling, and spray with Suave Professionals Touchable Finish Lightweight Hold Hairspray.
6. Start at the nape of the neck, and using a two-inch curling iron, begin to wrap one-inch sections of hair around the iron, keeping the clamp open. Leave the ends out of the curl for a more rock-and-roll look.
7. As you curl, make sure to vary the direction of the curls around your head, curling some pieces toward your face and some away from your face. Be sure to curl the hair framing your face away from your face.
8. Apply Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo all over hair to keep your style refreshed, help extend your blowout and revive volume.
9. Shake out hair and use a drop of the Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Smooth & Shine Serum to add lustrous shine and frizz control for up to 48 hours. Run fingers through hair for added shine.

Nicole Richie’s New Line for QVC

When historians (OK, bloggers) reflect on the age of celebrity fashion lines, Nicole Richie will probably stand out as one of the few who did it best. The reality TV star successfully transitioned into a sartorial success, building first an accessory brand and then clothing collection in her boho image. This year, she’s seriously expanding the empire.
In a move that times well with the premiere of her new NBC show, Fashion Star, Richie is launching a collection for QVC. The collection, which looks a bit like the clothes she makes for Winter Kate, will offer brightly printed dresses, colorful kimono jackets, and bags as part of QVC’s “The Buzz on the Red Carpet” program. Prices will start at $75 and go up to $257.
Richie told WWD, “I want to connect with the women watching by letting them know that we are similar in many ways; I’m a mother of two and I work. We all want to feel relaxed on the inside but stylish on the outside. And that’s what I’m trying to provide.”

Nicole Richie “waits until the last minute” to choose her outfits. The stunning fashionista always looks perfectly polished when she steps out in public.
Nicole admits that she puts little effort into creating a chic ensemble though. “I wait until pretty much the last minute almost every single time,” Nicole told the American edition of OK! magazine. “It really depends on how I’m feeling for the day and my mood so I usually have two or three and just pick.” Nicole puts more time into styling her hair than her outfits. The stunning star likes to keep her tresses looking sleek.
“I have curly hair, so sometimes, well, all the time, I need to get the frizz out,” she explained. “Suave Professionals Keratin Infusium System has made my hair smooth and more manageable.” Although she wears makeup, Nicole doesn’t own any. The star simply has no idea how to apply cosmetics to her face. “I don’t even have a makeup bag!” Nicole exclaimed. “Not like, ‘Oh, I’m so dope I don’t even own makeup,’ – I’d love to own makeup but I don’t even know what to do with it!”
